The Sochi bear, the official mascot of the Winter Games, is really pucking sad about Russia's loss.
The bear is having a rough night after witnessing Russia's loss to Finland during the Olympic hockey quarterfinals. The host nation lost 3-1 Wednesday, crushing their dreams at a gold medal -- or any medal.
The official Sochi Twitter account tweeted an image of the Sochi bear, in Bolshoy Arena, reacting to the loss. Warning: Sad bear ahead.

Perhaps even sadder: This photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin. (The image isn't actually from Wednesday's game, but we're sure Putin is still having a face-palm moment like his bear friend.)

Silver lining: Russia does have 22 medals, putting them in the top three winning nations at this year's Olympics.
So snout up, ol' pal. There's always 2018.
