Spirit Airlines is up to its usual tricks, turning a new plane acquisition into an advertisement laden with innuendo.

"WE'RE CELEBRATING! WE HAVE A NEW PLANE!" the airline said in a promotion.

"We've been waiting to hit 69 planes for years. It's our favorite number -- ever since we were twelve and found that magazine under our brother's bed (the one with the fantastic articles)," the ad said.

Tuesday only, Spirit is offering select routes at $69.00 round trip, or $34.50 each way.

Those looking to take advantage of the deal should be aware of the airline's fee policies.

Spirit is known for outrageous advertising campaigns, which typically take advantage of breaking news events.

For example, when the celebrity nude photo scandal happened last summer, the airline posted that its fares were "hacked."

The airline is known for cheap fares -- and limited service. Spirit has a 1.5 star rating (out of a possible 5) on ranking site Skytrax.
