In January, the Apple fandom and world at large was shocked to learn that Jobs was taking a leave of absence due to health related issues. Speculation was rampant, but it wasn't until mid June of this year that we learned that Jobs' absence was due to a liver transplant. Shortly after that news broke, Jobs was back, officially reporting for duty and laser-focused on the Apple Tablet.
Now just a few short months later, the man that can single-handedly make geeks the world round stop what they're doing, has taken the stage. Mr. Jobs, we welcome your return, and are excited to see the luster around Apple events return with the energy you bring to the stage.
