After just 8 hours, Stephen Glover -- best known as Steve-O from the MTV show Jackass -- is a free man once again.

In August, Steve-O was arrested in Hollywood after climbing a 100-foot-tall crane and releasing a blow-up orca whale with "SeaWorld Sucks" written on the side, as well as fireworks.

Steve-O eventually climbed down the crane and was arrested after five ambulances, a helicopter and more than 80 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

The stuntman later pled no contest to charges of misdemeanor trespassing and illegal use of fireworks. He was ordered to pay $14,000 to the city of Los Angeles for the emergency response and sentenced to 30 days in jail -- but after less than 8 hours, Steve-O was released Thursday.

After taking a hilarious mug shot, I wound up spending less than eight hours in jail. Thanks to all of the good people at Twin Towers Correctional Facility for making my stay a great one. #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks A photo posted by Steve-O (@officiallysteveo) on Dec 10, 2015 at 9:42am PST
