Lovers will turn against each other, families will be torn apart and a former baseball player will likely be the first person who makes you groan in horror on this season of Survivor.
CBS announced Wednesday the 18-person lineup for its upcoming season, set in Nicaragua, and it includes exactly what you'd expect from a Blood vs. Water season, in which contestants compete with and against loved ones.
But among the pairs of fathers and daughters and husbands and wives, a curveball: former MLB pitcher John Rocker. Yes, that John Rocker, who famously has something horrible to say about every person who's not like him and wants you to "speak English," dammit.

Needless to say, this is going to be interesting.
The 90-minute season premiere airs Sept. 24.
