Australia sure knows how to put on a show to get the world's attention.
On Friday afternoon, a hectic storm front moved in across the sky above the famous Bondi Beach toward the city of Sydney. A shelf cloud overtook the blue sky, horrifying and exciting onlookers in equal measure.

Sydney didn't need a severe storm warning to let it know the heavens were about to open. It was clear by the dark show taking place in the sky. Either way, the Bureau of Meteorology currently has a warning out for large hailstones, damaging winds and severe storms for areas north of Sydney.
Photographs of the weather event flooded Twitter, with #SydneyStorm trending locally. It may look like the end of the world, but it is really just another day Down Under.
