Taylor Swift hacked on Twitter and Instagram

Taylor Swift may be the victim of a recent hack on both of her confirmed Twitter and Instagram accounts. The now-deleted tweets tag Twitter users @Veriuser and @Lizzard and encourages her fans to follow them.

In a tweet, which has since been deleted, @Veriuser shared a screenshot of his linked accounts on Twitter, featuring Swift's own verified account.

Suspicious now-deleted images also appeared on Swift's Instagram account.

Fans of Swift quickly recognized the suspicious tweets as the work of potential hackers, while others vied for their chance at an elusive Taylor Swift follow-back.

According to Motherboard, @Lizzard threatened to release nude images of Swift in exchange for bitcoin. @Lizzard's Twitter account has since been suspended, as has @Veriuser's.

Swift responded to the hacks on her personal Tumblr page, saying that her team is aware of the situation and is in the process of changing her passwords.

Swift also took to her personal Twitter account to refute the hacker's claims that they're in possession of nude photos.
