In New York City's war on Katy Perry, the dedicated Swifties who trot around stages and pose for Instagrams are members of an elite squad known as the Special Friendships Unit. And now we may see their stories on the small screen.

Actress Mariska Hargitay hinted Taylor Swift, a Law & Order: SVU fangirl, may make an appearance on the show during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Swift's mad love for Law & Order and Hargitay is well documented. She famously, named her criminally adorable cat Olivia Benson after Hargitay's character. Hargitay also co-starred with 90% of 2015's New York Fashion Week in Swift's "Bad Blood" video as Justice. Most recently, she was on hand to accept the video's VMA.

“We just talked about it,” Hargitay told ET. “We’re going to wait until the end of the [1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it’s in the air.”

To seal the deal, Swift should really welcome Ice-T to the stage to perform "O.G. Original Gangster." There is no way her dancing would make everyone uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, Hargitay joked about adopting a kitty for a little catception. “The squad room needs to get a cat or I need to get a cat and name it Taylor,” Hargitay quipped, “either one.”

If TayTay does guest star, she would make a great type-A witness who is just a little too enthusiastic about helping the cops lock up a killer. In a shocking twist, we find out that Swift framed her ex-boyfriend for murder just so he'd go to prison and she would have full custody of the cat they once shared.

Det. Benson sees right through her act, and ends up adopting the cat herself -- to be named Taylor -- because she is a literal saint.
