Sawyer Fredericks!

Fredericks has been a coach and fan favorite since the very beginning of the season. His look, his voice and his genuine attitude set him apart from his fellow contestants. There was simply no one like him.

There was a folksy, soulful quality that echoed across the stage each time he performed.

Ray LaMontagne wrote the 16-year-old's original song “Please," and it's evident that the tune was tailored for Frederick's voice.

Scrolling through Twitter, it seems that the public is pleased.

We think this win was well deserved, too.

Tonight we also learned that since Mia Z. left the show, she and Pharrell already hit the studio to make some music. See, even losers are winners on The Voice.

Thinking about this season overall, there definitely were some slow moments. However, several talented singers were brought to the public's attention, and for that, we should be thankful.
