However, the footage from the preparation for this event was collected and turned into a documentary called Michael Jackson's This Is It. The trailer for the upcoming movie, slated for an October 28 release, was first shown at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 14th (luckily, it wasn't interrupted by Kanye West)
