Yep, you read right, that's Kwiry's short code and starting today you can use the TiVo shortcut to record shows by texting while on the go. If Kwiry (sounds like query) hasn't made it on your must-see list of websites, you might want to rethink your lineup and check it out. The site, which is a free productivity service that turns text messages, emails, voice calls, or photos into online reminders is announcing a plethora of new features that transform it from a convenient utility to a can't-live-without necessity.
Don't believe me? With Kwiry you used to be able to use shortcuts to update Amazon and Netflix on the fly, but it now supports a vast array of inputs and outputs making it super simple and fast to update your Facebook and Twitter status, as well as add Facebook contacts, receive Yelp information on a business, record shows via Tivo, and share your contact information with anyone.
It's pretty darn simple to setup and use too. Just create your account, connect it with Facebook, adjust a few settings, and you can start texting your queries to Kwiry. Texting Yelp + business name will get you custom Yelp results sent to your email and personal Kwiry page, the shortcut contact + email address will automatically send your vcard, while texting TiVo + show name will schedule a new recording when you're miles away from home.
Should you choose to use the Web interface, Kwiry can also offer you a handy way to manage to-do lists, letting you associate your SMS updates as tasks or searches, add notes, and share favorite Kwirys with friends.
