A newly released video shows a small plane making an emergency landing on Route 72 in Stafford, New Jersey, on Sunday, July 12.

The video captures the moment when the pilot touches the ground, quickly overtaking several cars and steering left on the grass median to avoid collision.

The single-engine plane that carried five people, including students from the Skydive East Coast Sky Diving School, had to make an emergency landing after its engine lost power.

According to the Stafford Township Police Department, which released the video on Tuesday, one sky dive instructor was treated for a small cut on his arm, but no one was seriously injured, and no vehicles were involved.

A similar incident happened nearby in January 2015, when a small plane was forced to land on Route 23 in West Milford, NJ. No one was injured in that incident either.
