When copyright violations are happening you should call a cop... and a construction worker... a biker... an Indian chief... you get the idea.

It seems that the Village People, yes, they still exist, are upset over a video someone edited together footage of Adolf Hitler so it appears he is dancing to their famous anthem, "YMCA". Web Sheriff, a UK based company that hunts down copyright violations, claims to have sent over 500 "takedown" notices to YouTube about the video, and while the video site has complied, people keep posting it. (Editor: it's fun to send out a DMCA!).

The Village People aren't the only ones to request the services of Web Sheriff, as Prince is also working with them to file civil litigation against YouTube, eBay, and The Pirate Bay, a well known pirate file site, for encouraging people to violate copyrights. YouTube, as always, sticks by its claims that it does the best it can to keep copyright violations off the site.

I just want to know if the Village People deliver the take-down notices in person... in costume.
