We're finally in the swing of things here at The Voice as the coaches continue to build up their teams.

This round of blind auditions didn't see as many four-chair-turns as in others, but there was certainly enough one-on-one coach banter to entertain us for the night. Despite the chit chat, however, the coaches seem to love each other more than ever.

As this week concludes, the coaches have at least 10 artists on their teams, leaving only a few slots left to be filled. The season's shaping up to be a great one -- let's see how Round 4 of blind auditions played out.

Top 3 performances

Ashley Morgan, 26

Song: "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston

Choosing to perform a Whitney Houston song is always a bold move, and in this case, it was also a smart one. Ashley Morgan sings professionally as a back-up singer, as well as at theme parks, but after tonight, as Coach Blake points out, "when she goes back to the theme park it's going to be to perform in the amphitheater." Morgan sang "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" with a fresh take, adding in runs and hitting all the right notes -- and that famous key change.

Both Pharrell and Blake turned their chairs around, and quickly stood up to dance and sing along. After Morgan finished, the two coaches embraced each other, proud of their decision to press their buttons. Before even pleading their cases to the singer, the two choose to duke it out tête-à-tête, prompting Adam to joke, "Stop having a date, and talk to her."

"There's nobody like you in this competition, on my team or any of these teams," Blake says. "This is your chance to become Ashley the artist in front of millions. I have not been this excited about an artist in a long freaking time. I love you."

Christina decides to endorse Pharrell, saying he has international success. He chimes in. "You can't buy that kind of training. It kept getting better. That's what this show is about."

Morgan says that her goal is to make an impact on the world with her music. And so, she goes with Pharrell.

Jeremy Gaynor, 30

Song: "Superstar" by The Carpenters

This U.S. Army soldier and lead vocalist of the West Point band wowed the coaches. Jeremy Gaynor has a pure soulful, natural talent. All four coaches turned for Gaynor, and the battle for him was fierce.

“I was first," Christina says. Blake jumps in with a compliment. "I'm secure enough of a guy to say this. You are a stud." Christina continues, "Jeremy, your talent is undeniable. It's the reason I came back to the show ... Pharrell is a strong candidate, but I am deeply rooted in R&B music. It's the greats that need to be a household name. I am ready to take this season and win this thing with you."

Adam thanked Gaynor for his performance and said that there was something charming about the way he performed, comparing him to Mick Jagger -- that you wouldn't be able to appreciate his dance moves without turning around. "When you see the way you perform," he says, "it adds to the natural gift."

Pharrell closes the conversation simply: "I would love to have you. Your voice is amazing."

Ultimately, he goes with Christina.

Brian Johnson, 24

Song: "Reason to Believe" by Tim Hardin

Brian Johnson has been singing ever since he was a little boy, but his path hasn't been easy. It took a lot for him to get to where he is today, despite the kids along the way who tried to belittle him or knock him down. Johnson sang "Reason to Believe" with such ease, connecting to the song and to the audience, drawing us in. Both Blake and Adam turned their chairs.

"You're going down, son," Adam says to Blake. Enter: A Shevine showdown.

Adam begins. "Welcome to Team Adam. It was so engaging, the emotional way you were singing that song. Wow, Brian."

"There is nobody like you on my team," Blake says. "There's nobody like you on any team," Adam interjects. Blake continues. "You are the type of artist I want to protect throughout this process. I look for unique people. That's what you are ... I'm am avid fan already."

"Make the right choice, and let me coach you," Adam concludes. Despite Adam's argument, Johnson goes with Blake.

The coaches really are quite awww-inducing

No doubt about it: Pharrell's got a certain move and groove about him. Christina tries to embody the swag-master.
