Pouring molten aluminum into a watermelon created beautiful results

There's nothing more exciting than destroying a perfectly good piece of fruit in the name of science.

The appropriately named YouTube channel The Backyard Scientist has a knack for performing odd and sometimes dangerous experiments, which you totally should never try yourself. But when they poured molten aluminum inside of a watermelon, the result was prettier and less explosive than expected.

The molten aluminum actually created a cast of the inside of the watermelon, which mildly resembles a cast of an anthill cast.
