If you've ever wanted to adopt your own little werewolf, you may actually be in luck — without even having to worry about the full moon.
A new breed of feline called Lykoi cats are currently taking the Internet by storm. The word Lykoi is actually Greek for "wolf," and the breed strongly resembles furry little werewolves.

The Lykoi’s founding breeder, Dr. Johnny Gobble, tells ABC News that the fuzzy cats even behave like canines.

While some are creeped out by the breed's appearance, others find the spooky little creatures to be utterly adorable.
“People are creeped out by them -- there’s people out there that completely hate them," says Gobble. "There’s people out there that hate me because they think I spliced DNA.”

Gobble is quick to note, however, that as a 20-year practitioner of veterinary medicine, nutrition is his top priority in breeding these special cats. Gobble even did DNA tests to confirm that the mutation that creates Lykoi cats is naturally occurring, and would not create health complications for the cats later on in life.

If you're finding yourself irresistibly drawn to these mystic felines, just make sure you ready yourself for their considerable price tag: the adoption fee for a Werewolf kitten is currently around $2,500.
