So much for making a good first impression.

New White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest's press briefing ended abruptly on Tuesday after an intern fainted towards the end of the meeting. The woman, a White House intern on her first day, had been standing during the entire briefing, which lasted about an hour.

The first day at a new job can be the pits, though. People are typically sleep deprived, running on coffee fumes and unable to eat a solid breakfast because of nerves. Add the stress of your new job being at the White House, and you're gonna have a bad time.

Washington reporter David Nakamura tweeted that the woman appeared to be okay after the incident.
