Xanga, the blogging network that's just recently launched XangaTV for live video blogging, is expanding on its content to include Johnny Lechner, the guy that's been in college for 14 years.
He now has his own show, a la Justin.tv. Catch the 24/7 broadcast of Johnny on his Xanga page here. You may remember that XangaTV includes features like a highlights reel, which incorporates user input, as well as comments. This will be available on Johnny Lechner's channel as well.
There's an oncoming trend for these networks to offer up live blogging tools to users, and now layer in premium content as well. We've seen this with Justin.tv, which expanded to include several features before opening its service to anyone, and ustream as well, which has gone after the Hollywood crowd.
