Pete Cashmore Discusses YouTube’s Greatest Hits on Nightline [Video]

As we recently reported, YouTube has surpassed 1 billion view views … every day. Many of those videos have been featured here on Mashable, as the perfect complement to an article, or as a viral sensation worthy of its own story.

Last night, Nightline (@nightline) paid homage to YouTube’s milestone and some of its greatest hits, many of which you’ll most certainly recognize. Their guest? Mashable’s Pete Cashmore, who discussed the phenomenon that we’ve been following since 2005.
