The Thai government has finally fully lifted its ban on YouTube after a deal was made between the video-sharing network and local Thai officials.

With YouTube in agreement to block any clips that are offensive to Thai people or violate Thai law, the Thai government has fully lifted its ban. Initiated earlier this year in April, Thailand issued a ban to block local access to YouTube after a highly offensive video clip poked fun at the Thai king. After much negotiation, a threat to be sued by Thailand, and an agreements between YouTube and the Ministry of ICT, YouTube's completion of a program aimed to block offensive clips from being accessed from Thai ISPs has helped seal the deal.
