No, it's not a storyline from The Walking Dead -- it's a true story of a courageous feline who was found alive days after being presumed dead.

Fox 13 reports that Ellis Hutson, from Tampa Bay, Florida, buried his cat after local veterinarians pronounced it dead. Hutson found his cat, named Bart, lifeless in a pool of blood, in the street, after Bart was struck by a vehicle.

However, Bart showed up in a neighbor's garden five days later. While the cat still needs surgery, and will probably lose one of his eyes, he is expected to recover.

Bart is currently being treated at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, who told Fox 13 that they believed the cat may have regained consciousness after being buried, crawled out of his grave and hid for a few days before being discovered.
