Send your finest holiday cards to this 9-year-old Christmas fan
Nine-year-old Jacob Thompson, who has stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, will be celebrating his last Christmas this year. But he's still feeling the holiday spirit -- and he'd love to get some homemade cards.
Per a GoFundMe page created by Jacob's parents, Jacob was admitted to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, Maine early last month. Next weekend, he'll have an early Christmas party complete with a tree, "snow," and an appearance from Santa Claus.
According to Good Housekeeping, Jacob's one special request is for anyone who feels inspired to send him a homemade holiday card. The cheerier the better.
So far, several people have already sent cards, including Jake Tapper and Anna Kendrick. "I'm sending a card your way Jacob you handsome devil," tweeted Kendrick.

If you'd like to send one yourself, here's a tip: Jacob loves penguins. Please see below for a simple penguin drawing tutorial.
