Amazon's holiday ad was turned into a horror film with 1 simple change

Sinister and all too real.

As Amazon continues its attempt at global domination, one Twitter user's tweak to the company's holiday ad makes things far more sinister. If you have a darker view of Amazon and its reported practices, it's a little more realistic.

The original ad features a jingley cover of The Jackson's "Can You Feel It," but filmmaker Omar Najam swapped that out for a piece of music from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The doom and gloom makes it the most affecting horror film of 2018.

That is ominous as all hell, alright. And Najam revealed in a later tweet that one particular shot was the impetus behind the whole clip.

Some viewers felt similarly while others noted how terrifying the resulting clip is.

Welcome to the nightmare of Christmas Future.
