LOS ANGELES -- It's pilot time.

Amazon called on its customers again Thursday to stream and review pilots to help the e-commerce giant pick the next Amazon Original Series.

The company's line-up -- which includes two one-hour pilots and six kids shows -- will be available on Amazon on June 17 in the U.S., UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.

Among the new offerings: A pilot adapted from Meg Wolitzer's best selling novel The Interestings. The story follows a group of artsy teens who met at summer camp in 1974 as they transition into adulthood and adapt to life in New York City. It stars Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) as Jules, an aspiring actress. The pilot is directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and was written by Lyn Green and Richard Levine (Masters of Sex).

Also an option: The Last Tycoon, Academy Award nominee Billy Ray's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's last work. It stars Matt Bomer as Hollywood's Golden Boy Monroe Stahr as he battles his father figure and boss Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer). Lily Collins also stars as Cecelia Brady.

For kids (ages 6-11), Amazon is bringing a Sid & Marty Kroft show called Sigmund and the Sea Monsters; a 2D animation, puppetry and real live action comedy Little Big Awesome; an animated comedy featuring Waffle, Burger and Pants called Toasty Tales; and an animated comedy called Morris and the Cow.

For pre-school aged children, Amazon is releasing a stop motion animated show called The Curious Kitty and Friends and an animated series featuring music called Jazz Duck.

"We're focused on bringing customers compelling, must-see TV and we accomplish this by going directly to them for input," Roy Price, Vice President, Digital Video and Amazon Studios, said in a statement. "Our process has proven to work time and time again. Their feedback has helped create series that have become fan favorites among critics and customers."
