An early bloom turns Tokyo garden into yellow flower wonderland

The center of Tokyo now looks more like a sea of yellow than a major metropolis. 

This week rapeseed flowers bloomed in the central district of Tokyo at the Hama-rikyu Gardens. Usually these flowers appear in mid-March, but record warm temperatures this winter have possibly triggered an early bloom.
