Apple services suffer across the board outages (no, it's not just you)

The App Store, Apple Music, iCloud Mail, Podcasts, and more all experienced outages Monday morning.

It doesn't always "just work."

Apple users were confronted with that hard truth Monday morning as scores of the company's core services experienced outages. According to Apple's system status page, which during the course of writing this article itself stopped working, affected Apple products included:

  • App Store

  • Apple Arcade

  • Apple Music

  • Apple TV+

  • Apple Care on Device

  • Device Enrollment Program

  • Find My

  • iCloud Calendar

  • iCloud Contacts

  • iCloud Mail

  • iCloud Private Relay

  • iTunes Store

  • Maps Display

  • Maps Routing and Navigation

  • Maps Search

  • Maps Traffic

  • Podcasts

  • Radio

We asked Apple how many users were affected, and what caused the problems with its services, but received no immediate response.

Meanwhile, multiple people on Twitter claimed that Apple's store systems were also down.

This Monday is shaping up to be a rough one for everyone at Apple HQ.

UPDATE: Mar. 21, 2022, 12:42 p.m. PDT All Apple systems have been restored, according to Apple's (now working) system status page.
