Carlos Correa had a big night on Wednesday.

The Houston Astros shortstop celebrated his team's big World Series win by taking the opportunity on Dodger Stadium field to propose to his girlfriend, 2016's Miss Texas USA Daniella Rodriguez.

"Daniella Rodriguez, will you make me the happiest man in the world? Will you marry me," he said before she enthusiastically hugged him and said yes.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Correa had been wanting to propose for awhile but his patience ended up paying off.

"I was like OK, so we have a championship caliber team, so let me wait it out to see if we can be champions and do it at the big stage," Correa told the paper. "So, we were able to win the game, which was the first part of my day to accomplish, and then I was able to do it."

Thanks to the help of Carl Schneider, the Astros clubhouse manager, he was able to whip out the ring right after a post-game interview in front of Rodriguez—who had no idea what was happening.

Despite fan's overwhelmingly excited tweets about the proposal, some folks still had a couple questions for Correa.

But most importantly...

Congrats to the happy couple on both rings received last night!
