Heading back to college? Don't forget the Command strips and hooks for damage-free hanging in your dorm.

Sure, some schools are more lenient than others when it comes to what counts as normal wear and tear. But some universities will nickel and dime you upon move-out for any repairs — and that includes your walls. If you want to ensure all of the picture frames, posters, and other decor you choose to hang won't result in blatant property destruction, you need Command products. And luckily, the brand is coming in hot with some heavy discounts for back-to-school season.

While you may be tempted to rip into the package and throw the Command strips or hooks up on your walls, patience is key with these magic hanging tools. Make sure you follow the directions and wait the appropriate amount of time for the adhesive to build, or else you won't get the clean removal you're hoping for. Seriously — ask me how I know.

Whether you're hoping to hang a few frames, a cork board, some fairy lights, or a cute mirror, there's a pack of Command strips or hooks for you. And as of Aug. 14, there's a good chance it's on sale. We've rounded up some of the best back-to-school deals on Command products below.
