For weeks the internet has been absolutely obsessed with The Mandalorian's adorable Baby Yoda and the ridiculously bizarre film Cats, which is why it brings us great pleasure to announce that there's a cat in this world that looks just like Baby Yoda.

Yes, a precious rescue kitty named Joy with large green eyes, a sweet face, and Baby Yoda-like ears will let Star Wars and Cats fans enjoy the best of both worlds. It's the cutest crossover since the Adam Driver cat.

On Dec. 15, a woman found Joy in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and contacted the Humane Society of Rowan County. Joy, who had a wound on her neck and an upper respiratory infection, was taken to a Humane Society veterinarian for treatment and will remain there while she recovers.

The Humane Society's Facebook page shared Joy's story in a post on Friday, and they even started a fundraiser to help with the stray's medical bills.

The post explains that Joy has "a long road of recovery ahead of her" and won't be available for adoption for quite some time. When her injuries heal, however, there's a chance you can adopt her as your own pet.

Per CNN, vets at the Cabarrus Animal Hospital in Kannapolis treated Joy for intestinal parasites as well as her respiratory infection, and though no one's sure of her actual age she's believed to be around one or two years old.

"She is doing OK. She's still having a few symptoms, but she's being taken care of by the vets," Nancy Rominger, a board member at the Humane Society, told CNN. It's going to take a while for her to heal."

"She's very cuddly, she's very affectionate, and she's very sweet," Rominger said. "Her experiences have not made her into an attack cat. She seems to like people and loves being in laps. She's going to make someone a very nice pet."

If you're smitten with this little Baby Yoda cat, you can donate to help with her medical bills through the Facebook fundraiser. And be sure to check the page for additional updates on Joy's recovery.
