Ryan Howard from The Office is not about kids. Having them, taking care of them — nope, that's just not his thing.

But Ryan Howard in real life, otherwise known as actor B.J. Novak, has no problem with children. Just the opposite, actually. He wrote a New York Times bestselling children's book called The Book with No Pictures.

As the title suggests, it is a book. With no pictures. For kids.

So when a class full of kids ran into Novak on a walk around their school and asked if he would read his book out loud to them, of course he said yes.

Redditor jacks_a_million shared this very moment through the two pictures below.

According to jacks_a_million, Novak is originally from the area.

"He did come to the schools in his hometown a few years ago and do readings from what I heard," jacks_a_million shared in a comment. "I work in his hometown and I'm assuming maybe he is visiting for Passover."

The reading was not the first time B.J. Novak has shared his book with kids. In 2014, the actor and author charmed an entire classroom of children (and tbh, all of us too) with a reading:

Now the real question is would B.J. Novak be willing to read his book out loud to a group of adults? Asking for a friend.
