New footage from Blade Runner 2049 has been released and it's incredible.

The behind-the-scenes video comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, just in time for the original Blade Runner's 35th anniversary on Sunday.

The plot of the sequel, which stars some of Hollywood's finest--such as Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, and Jared Leto--has been pretty mysterious. But this new footage gives viewers some hints.

“We are running towards the finishing line right now,” director Denis Villeneuve told Entertainment Weekly. “We are elated. It feels like Christmas as we look at the completed shots."

We've already seen some trailers, but the new footage gives us so much more to think about.

The clip starts off with a view of Gosling as Frank Sinatra's "One For My Baby (And One More For The Road)" plays in the background. It gradually becomes more intense as viewers get a firsthand look at the world of 2049.

The movie comes to theaters Oct. 6.
