Cheetos-flavored mac and cheese bites are coming to Burger King
Burger King and Cheetos have partnered up on what is likely a nutritionist's worst nightmare: Mac n' Cheetos.
These are, in essence, small rolls of macaroni and cheese, deep-fried in a crispy shell of orange Cheetos dust. They resemble Cheetos Puffs in appearance, but pulling them apart reveals a melty interior.
Let that sink in for a moment.

Mac n' Cheetos hits Burger King locations nationwide on Monday, June 27 and will retail for $2.49 for a five-piece box. It will be the fast-food giant's only release for the summer season, and should be available for an estimated eight to 10 weeks, depending on demand.
Alex Macedo, President of Burger King North America tells Mashable that the partnership between Cheetos and the fast-food retailer developed from an interest in attracting younger consumers.
"When we were reviewing the success of some of our product launches, we found that the main success came from a younger consumer profile, and fortunately one of the brands they love the most is Cheetos," he said. "So, from then it was just connecting with the Cheetos team at Frito-Lay and developing this product."
Other recent Burger King launches include their foray into flame-grilled hot dogs and the oddly popular Chicken Fries (now in ring form).
