Nintendo has a new tennis hero.

Last night's Nintendo Direct game announcements featured some cool upcoming titles, such as a new Super Smash game for the Switch and a re-release of Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS.

But the real star of the evening was the tennis-playing Chain Chomp that will be playable in Mario Tennis Aces.

Look at this little guy.

The internet was delighted by the inclusion of Chain Chomp, who has no arms, so holds his tennis racket proudly between his sharp teeth.

Chain Chomp is set to be in the Powerful playstyle group, along with Bowser, Wario, and Donkey Kong—a perfect place for such a strong and resilient fella.

Even though there could be skepticism about the logistics of Chain Chomp's tennis abilities, the internet is supportive of this good boy, encouraging him to follow his dreams of tennis stardom and spreading motivational messages to others.

We support you, Chain Chomp. Pursue your dreams. Go for the gold.
