Remember when J.K. Rowling casually dropped that bombshell about us all getting Voldemort's name wrong?

Well, brace yourselves, because it's not the only name you've been mispronouncing.

On Sunday night, Chrissy Teigen posted the following tweet.

Yep, you read that right. The surname of everyone's favourite Twitter badass is actually pronounced "Tie-gen".

The reason for this continuing error? Well, sometimes it's simply easier to go with the tide.

So, will this be the start of people finally saying Chrissy's name correctly?

Probably not. Like Voldemort, it seems that once people have said something a certain way for a certain length of time, there's pretty much no going back.
