The lasting impact of Christine Blasey Ford is being celebrated and preserved in history with a powerful and poignant Time cover.

For Time's Oct. 15 issue, the magazine's cover features direct quotes from Ford's testimony, arranged to create the image of the memorable stance Ford held while taking her oath before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Sept. 27. Ford has accused Brett Kavanaugh, President Donald Trump's pick for a seat open on the U.S. Supreme Court, of sexual assault.

Quotes like, "I'm here today not because I want to be," "I couldn't not do it," and "I'm used to being collegial," and single words spoken like "claustrophobia" and "anxiety" make up Ford's skin, hair, and clothing in the image created by John Mavroudis, a San Francisco-based artist.

To create the striking cover, Mavroudis reportedly hand drew each letter to form Ford's likeness.

"This particular process is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together, but with an infinite number of possibilities," he said. "The memory quotes would be attached to her forehead area, and the quotes about wanting to help I placed on her hand. The hand could be seen as welcoming, but also deflecting."

As Trump continues to tweet in support of Kavanaugh and mock Ford and her testimony, the cover is making waves on social media.

According to Time, this cover is only the second in the magazine's history for which they created a portrait using typography. The first was (oddly enough) another Oct. 15 issue, which featured quotes from President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney's campaigns in 2012.

In the article accompanying the latest cover, titled "How Christine Blasey Ford’s Testimony Changed America," Time's Haley Sweetland Edwards examines the immense impact that the professor's sexual assault allegations against Trump's Supreme Court nominee, along with the testimonies, hearing, and national response will have on the country's future.

The Senate confirmation vote for Kavanaugh was delayed after the request for a week-long FBI investigation from several senators.

The FBI has reportedly concluded the investigation and members of the Senate are set to review the report on Thursday.
