In April, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase launched a Visa debit card in the UK, allowing users to spend cryptocurrency online, as well as in retail stores all over the world.

Now, the company announced the card's availability in six more European countries: Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Just like the UK version, the card lets you spend cryptocurrencies in your Coinbase account -- Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and all other cryptocurrencies present on Coinbase are supported -- at any place that accepts Visa cards.

The Coinbase Card comes with an accompanying iOS or Android app, which lets you monitor your purchases, exchange cryptocoins for fiat money and vice versa, and manage various aspects of your card.

To order the card, customers should download the Coinbase Card app, sign in with their Coinbase account, and request a Coinbase Card, which will put them on a waitlist. Once the waitlist closes, they'll be able to spend their cryptocurrency using the in-app virtual card, while a physical card will be send through the mail.

The fees, which aren't negligible, haven't changed, either -- check out the full list here.

Coinbase said that it'll be introducing new features to the Card and bring it to more customers around the globe "in the coming months."
