Dad wears Pikachu tie made by his son for a very special reason

Parents love the stuff their kids make, no matter what.

Nothing makes parents more proud than seeing their children succeed.

They've been to all of our terrible school concerts, helped us through many long hours of homework, and kept every single little stupid thing we've ever made just to give us the confidence we need to make it in this world.

One dad in particular took the "keeping every single little stupid thing we've ever made" vow extra seriously. But the thing he kept is neither little nor stupid.

Twitter user Dylan posted these pictures of his dad wearing probably the greatest Pikachu tie of all time to Dylan's high school graduation. What makes the tie extra special is that Dylan made the tie for his dad when he was in first grade.

We're not sure what's more impressive - the fact that his dad kept the tie for this long, or Dylan's impeccable artistry skills as a first grader.

The nostalgic photos brought tears to the eyes of the internet, and soon people of Twitter expressed their delight in this dad's gesture and Dylan's tie-decorating abilities.

Congrats Dylan and dad!
