Nash Grier headlines DigiTour's first foray into South America and Mexico
LOS ANGELES -- Vine star Nash Grier has signed up to help DigiTour Media, the company behind several digital influencer tours, expand globally.
The Gen Z-focused live-entertainment and media company announced this week that Grier will headline a tour in South America and Mexico, the company's first ever tour outside of the U.S. and the U.K.

“We’re so happy to bring fans in South America and Mexico the social stars they’ve been dying to see,” Meridith Valiando Rojas, DigiTour co-founder and CEO, said in a statement. “As DigiTour continues to grow, we are expanding globally, and this tour is just one of the many ways we’ll be expanding our offerings in 2016.”
DigiTour, founded in 2010 by Valiando Rojas and multi-platinum music producer Chris Rojas, has become known for producing popular live shows with social media stars. Last year, Viacom Inc. acquired a significant minority stake in the company
Grier, 18, has amassed 12.4 million followers on Vine, 5 million followers on Twitter, more than 8 million followers on Instagram and about 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
"The Wave Tour," which kicks off May 11, will also feature a handful of Grier's friends, though the exact list of additional guests have not yet been announced.
