As Casey writes on Twitter, Cooper cheers with a "huge howl" every time someone scores a basket. And he's noticeably disappointed when his fetch partner misses, even letting out a low growl.
Perhaps Cooper is using positive reinforcement conditioning on his family to make them better free throwers? Or maybe he isn't ready for March Madness to be over. The world may never know.
