LONDON -- Obviously there are times when the internet can be a harsh, unforgiving place, but there are also times when it's the perfect platform for people to unite over a common cause.

In this case, the common cause happens to be a bin that looks a bit like Donald Trump.

On Tuesday morning, British comedy website The Poke tweeted the following image with a caption encouraging people to do "their wonderful stuff with it", using the inspired hashtag #TheAdventuresOfDonaldTheBin.

And boy, did the internet deliver.

The original picture of the bin is a few years old -- it's been bouncing around the internet for awhile now -- but this appears to be the first time it's been used in a Donald Trump-themed Photoshop battle.

Check out @ThePoke on Twitter for the full battle.

UPDATE: Jan. 24, 2017, 1:06 p.m. GMT The original image was first shared by Thomas Regembal (@stom01) in 2014.
