Fly us to the moon and back, Elon!

As the world attempts to chill following Oscars drama on this fine Monday, Elon Musk has casually announced that his private spaceflight company, SpaceX, will be flying two tourists around the moon in 2018. No. Big. Deal.

After SpaceX released a statement, clarifying that two private citizens -- whose identities have not been made public -- want to pay to embark on the out-of-this-world adventure, people of the internet collectively freaked the heck out.

Aside from expressing a great deal of FOMO, people began to guess the identities of two mysterious citizens participating in the unexpected week-long trip, and of course, they had plenty of jokes at the ready.

People were pumped...

Some began to tweet their ideal space travellers, (one dude in particular)...

Others happily volunteered as tribute...

And even astronauts wanted in on the adventure...

Elon, please give us some more deets A.S.A.P.
