'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke just cleared her name in the Starbucks coffee cup saga
Emilia Clarke would like to clear her name in "cup-gate".
Fans were aghast this week when they spotted a Starbucks coffee cup in the most recent episode of Game of Thrones.
Unfortunately for Clarke, that stray coffee cup happened to be sitting right in front of her:

Well, she's finally broken her silence on the matter and she's got something to say about it. Turns out, she's washing her hands of the blame.
"Did I just stumble upon the truth here?! The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea... oh and this ain’t a spoiler just a lost wanderer coming home for a mid filming cuppa," wrote Clarke on Instagram.
In her Instagram photo -- which was likely taken during one of Thrones' earlier seasons -- she's quite clearly holding a cup that doesn't have any Starbucks branding.
So, if it wasn't Emilia, who was it?
Let's get to the bottom of this ASAP.
