Love makes us do strange things. We'll move across the country, pretend we like things we don't and lie on our dating profiles all for the chance to be with someone special.

In this adorably romantic video posted on Facebook by French supermarket chain Intermarché, one man tries to woo his crush by changing one habit we're all guilty of: eating too much junk food. And you don't have to understand French to appreciate the journey these lovebirds take.

After the cashier judges the man for his grocery choices, he makes it his mission to change his ways by ditching the pizza and ice cream and charming her with his new produce purchases.

It's quite the journey along the way as he tries his hand at cooking for his friends and gradually masters the culinary arts. But will it be enough to woo his crush? Watch and find out.

Ah, the things we'll do for love.
