The discovery of seven new planets was definitely a highlight of the week. In fact, some might say that galaxy deserves a delicious sort of tribute.

Stand down, JLaw. This cake, posted by Imgur user Pedagiggle is a much better tribute. In fact, it blows any other cake out of the galaxy.

Sure, on the outside it's just cute, frosted in buttercream and decorated with fondant planets, stars and a rocket ship.

But on the inside...

it is magnificent.

Pedagiggle posts steps online how to create this masterpiece at home. Be prepared, it seems lengthy and a little complicated.

But the result is out of this world (#dadjoke).
