Gin-flavored cheese is here to confuse your taste buds
There are some pretty extreme cheeses out there: stinky cheese, gold cheese, prosecco cheese. They're all delicious, but even the most fervent cheese lover has a line they won't cross. Is yours perhaps gin cheese?
Honestly, we're not sure. A new Gin & Lemon Cheshire Cheese, which is currently being sold by Cheshire Cheese Company in the U.K., looks surprisingly creamy and delicious.
Yes, the words "gin" and "cheese" together bring a third word, "bad," to mind. However, the cheese's description -- "slightly acidic," "melt in your mouth" -- doesn't sound bad at all.
Also, this cheese won the Bronze Award at the 2017 International Cheese Awards. And who are we to doubt an award-winning cheese?
The cheese, which also features sweetened pieces of lemon, is currently sold out, but the company hopes to restock very soon.
