Groot Bread is here to kick your unicorn latte's ass
Hallelujah, the multicolored "unicorn food craze" -- which may have peaked with the frappucinco to end all frappucinos -- has met its match in the shape of a lovable carb shaped like Groot.
Everyone's favorite little Marvel tree made its bread debut over Memorial Day weekend at Disney California Adventure in conjunction with its new "Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!" attraction.
The rather large savory treat includes black olive eyes and jalapeno-cheddar hair (though there are also social media reports of a vegan version). The sourdough bread is baked at the onsite Boudin Bakery and sold out within mere hours. You can buy the bread at Fairfax Market in Hollywoodland and Groot-shaped bread at Cosmic Canteen.
There's no word on if this tasty treat is limited edition or how much it costs, but chances are you'll think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
