Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon are going back to Hogwarts.

The Harry Potter actors are set to reprise their roles (albeit in animated form) as Professor Minerva McGonagall and Professor Albus Dumbledore for Hogwarts Mystery, the new mobile game set in the world of Harry Potter.

Also returning are Warwick Davis as Professor Filius Flitwick, Sally Mortemore as Madam Irma Pince, Gemma Jones as Madam Poppy Pomfrey, and Zoë Wanamaker as Madam Rolanda Hooch.

Hogwarts Mystery invites players to create their own characters and attend the school as students. They'll be sorted into houses, enroll in magical classes, and build up their skills as witches and wizards as they go on new adventures.

It's set before Harry and the gang arrived at Hogwarts – so although players won't get to play Quidditch with Ron or hit the books with Hermione, they'll they'll be able to interact with other characters both new and familiar, like the professors named above.

"Our goal with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is to make players really feel for the first time like they’re attending Hogwarts," said Chris DeWolfe, co-founder and CEO of Jam City, in a statement.

It may not be quite as good as getting a real Hogwarts letter delivered via a real owl in real life – but it might be the next best thing. Hey, we'll take it.

Hogwarts Mystery will be available April 25 on iOS and Android.
