The initial premise of Anatomy of a Fall is a mystery. Did the man lying dead in the snow below his family's cabin accidentally fall, intentionally jump, or get pushed?
Sandra (played by Sandra Hüller), a German novelist, is accused of killing her husband, Samuel (Samuel Theis) at their isolated French chalet. A year later, we see their relationship scrutinized and picked apart in the courtroom.
