The Saint Mary’s Gaels and Grand Canyon men’s basketball teams are scheduled to meet in a tournament game at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington, on Friday, March 22. The game is scheduled to start at 8:05 p.m. MT/7:05 p.m. PT. 

No. 5 seed St. Mary’s comes into the matchup 26-7 overall. Most recently, St. Mary’s defeated Gonzaga 69-60 on March 12 in the West Coast Conference Tournament championship game. Aidan Mahaney leads the St. Mary’s Gaels in scoring this season with 13.9 points per game. 

No. 12-seeded Grand Canyon enters the contest 29-4 overall. On Saturday, GCU beat UT Arlington 89-74 in the WAC Tournament championship game. Tyon Grant-Foster is the top scorer for Grand Canyon this season with 19.8 points per game.
