Hulu renews 'Difficult People' for third season

LOS ANGELES -- Hulu has picked up Difficult People for a third season.

The show, executive produced by Amy Poehler, follows struggling comedian Billy Epstein (Billy Eichner) and his friend Julie (played by show creator and writer Julie Klausner) in New York City.

The second season of the show, which was 10 episodes, ended in September. It featured a handful of A-list guest stars including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Julianne Moore and Tina Fey.
